Have you been mooned lately? By a really big moon? Well if you haven't then tonight is the night!
If you are here in the Atlanta area you might not get mooned tonight but that's only because you won't be able to see it.
What the heck am I talking about?
It's called the perigee moon. Once or twice a year the moons elliptical orbit puts it slightly closer to the earth at the time of the full moon. It makes the moon appear both larger and brighter. The very best time to get mooned is early evening just as the moon is rising.
here is a link to a more detail story from NASA.

hahah... you got me for a second. "Want to get mooned by a really big moon?" ;)
It's always breathtaking when you take a moment to look at the sky and see all that God created. It puts things in perspective! Thanks for the info- I will definitely check it out!

LOL, that was good. I was gonna say, I haven't gotten mooned. But I did get the big finger the other day. It was crazy!! This lady cut in front of us and when we almost hit her, she slammed on her brakes and gave the meanest finger I have ever seen. My husband and I both started laughing. She was in a Mercede's and apparently felt we should all worship the road she drove on!
