One small step for man...

One small step for man...

It was 41 years ago today that Neil Armstrong took the historic first steps on the moon. Man's landing on the moon is the greatest technological achievement ever. Today, 41 years later, we are still realizing the benefits of the science that was spawned by the space race.  If you were alive at the time this is one of those lifetime moments that you always remember.  Me, I was 10 years old sitting in the family room of our home in Marshfield, Wi. watching  grainy black and white images of one of the greatest moments in history.

"That's one small step for man; one giant leap for mankind"

Joe, Thanks.  FYI the "Mythbusters" proved it was real.  :-)

I remember the excitement of being allowed to stay up past my bed time to watch.  The black and white images seem so quaint now.
