Powder Springs- Charity Golf Tournament

The Powder Springs Business Association is sponsoring their 1st annual golf tournament Oct 11, 2007 at Dogwood Country Club. Proceeds will go to the Bullock Hope House and Powder Springs Police Department.

The Bullock Hope House is a home a away from homefor cancer patients and their caregivers being treated through the Wellstar cancer program.

The Powder Springs police department keeps our town safe every day. Part of the funds raised will be used for their community programs.

The cost is $80 per person and includes lunch and a goody bag. There will be a ton of prizes and lots of fun to be had.

Registration deadline is Sept 28 and there are also sponsorship opputunities available.

This sounds like a great program.  Maybe we should participate.  However, I'm not so sure about actually trying to win a golf game.  I don't think my score would be too good.
