Humor-What Is Generation Y??

Humor-What Is Generation Y??

Well, I've always wondered about this myself..& now I know.

People born before 1946 were called The Silent generation

The Baby Boomers
, are people born between 1946 and 1959.

Generation X
, are the people who have been born between 1960 and 1979.

And Generation Y
, are the people born between 1980 and  2009

So, why do we call the last group Generation Y? I never really knew until I saw a cartoon which explained it very eloquently below...& sure makes sense doesn't it!!

That is HILARIOUS Bob!  You got me!  I was busy being pleased that I was no longer categorized as a Baby Boomer, wondering about being a Generation X'er and saw that cartoon.  Nice!

Oh, I thought they were called that because all their questions start with Y:

Y do I have to go to college?
Y do I have to get a job?
Y do I have to move out of my parents house?
Y do I have to stop playing video games?
Y are you getting so bent out of shape, Mom?

UGH!
