Alice's Restaurant, A Thanksgiving Day Classic!

For those of you who are old enough to remember or crazy enough to care this is a Thanksgiving classic.  Turn up your speakers and take a few minutes to enjoy.  There is some classic film footage mixed in this one that really adds a lot!

Happy Thanksgiving

Bob, I'm certainly old enough to remember Arlo Guthrie. I do have the album and I did see Arlo a couple of years ago in concert at the Woodstock Opera house in Woodstock Ill. Thanks for the video.

Hi Bob ~ I'm a bit sad this year since a long-time radio station in Boston WBCN - the music of my youth! - folded a few months ago. Every Thanksgiving they played food related songs and worked all the way through the Thanksgiving menu. Then they followed it up with Alice's Restaurant. The station that replaced them is one that I also had on my dial but every so often when they cross the line into something that's a bit too pop, a bit too sappy, I can't help but wince.  Thanks for sharing this seasonal classic.
